Ms. Aghvami will speak about her experiences as an immigrant journalist in Canada and the challenges of finding jobs in Canadian media.
She will also discuss issues of the Canadian job market; how diverse and multi-cultural it is and how occasionally discrimination and careless behaviour towards newcomers deprive them from enjoying their rights and social status in Canada.

His latest documetrary "The Blogger's War" will be shown and discussed.
He will also share his interesting memories over a long period of time including his life as an immigrant in Soviet union, living under communist state, collapse of Soviet Union and his new life in Canada. He will also talk about importance of Iranian involvement in the media, Iranians and media from Los Angles to Amsterdam and
Iranian's success in television vs in other forms of media.
